Memories from the archives 1

In April 2008 we visited the Calangues, close to Marseille. There are something like 4000 routes in total in that area. This pic is taken after my first multipitch climb, an easy arete, but quite alot of " fresh air". And the weather was excellent, yeah. If you want to get somekind of perspective, look closely to the steep face in the middle. There is this one separate tiny pixel, that pixel is someone climbing! Alealeale!

I can warmly recommend this area. Topo is good, access is mainly good, protection was good.
